Next month’s Bellator 289 card is complete, following the addition of a battle between ranked middleweights.

Officials for the promotion released the final roster for the end of 2022 on Monday, announcing that No. 5-ranked 185’er Dalton Rosta (7-0) will face No. 10-ranked Anthony Adams (9-2).

Rosta has been perfect so far in his pro career and trains alongside division champion Johnny Eblen at American Top Team in Florida. Last time out, Hercules dropped his opponent Romero Cotton with a left hook, ending his night in the third round.

The 27-year-old Rosta spent his professional career in Bellator MMA, debuting with the promotion in 2019. He holds a win over current UFC fighter Cody Brundage from the pair’s amateur days.

Adams, who twice appeared on Dana White’s Contender Series only to fall short on both counts, making his promotional debut last time out at Bellator 266, defeating the highly touted Khalid Murtazaliev via unanimous decision.

Bellator 289 will feature the semifinal round of the promotion’s bantamweight Grand Prix, including a bantamweight title fight between Raufeon Stots and Danny Sabatello in the main event. In the evening’s co-main event, flyweight champion Liz Carmouche will return with Juliana Velasquez after the pair’s first fight ended in controversy.
