Glendale, AZ — With Nate Diaz and his entourage in the house, you knew things were going to get interesting Saturday night at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, AZ — host to the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva boxing spectacle.
And they did. Diaz, whose tag team member Chris Avila earned a decision victory over Youtuber “Dr. Mike’ to open the Pay-Per-View card is shown on the screen several times throughout the night. What wasn’t shown on screen was the altercation that erupted between Jake Paul’s camp and Diaz’s camp backstage at the arena shortly after Avila’s win and right after UFC star Uriah Hall’s win.
A few drinks were thrown amid calls for more security, but the two sides were eventually separated. Cageside Press was in the house covering the event and captured the video below.

So far, there is no information about what led to the incident in question. Diaz has been positioned as a possible future foe for Paul for some time and recently fulfilled his UFC contract with a victory over Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 this past September.
Additional footage from Happy Punch shows Diaz apparently punching a member of Paul’s group.

Of course, where Nate Diaz goes, trouble seems to come, so this should come as no surprise.
Jake Paul takes on UFC legend Anderson Silva in the main event of tonight’s Showtime card.
