The PFL will close out its 2022 season on familiar territory, returning to the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden for its World Series show on Nov. 25.

Promotion officials announced the location for the season closer on Wednesday via press release. While the date of the 2022 World Cup has been publicly known for some time, the venue has been kept under wraps.

The event will be the first for the promotion as the main card will air on ESPN+ PPV.

The card will feature all of the $6 million finals ending this year’s Pro Fight League season. It will also feature a featherweight bout between recent free agent signings Shane Burgos and Marlon Moraes, both of whom competed for the UFC earlier this year.

Among the key bouts featured on November 25th, Kayla Harrison will look to make it three wins as the PFL Women’s Lightweight Champion when she faces a familiar opponent in Larissa Pacheco. Olivier Aubin-Mercier will look to secure the men’s lightweight title in a fight with former UFC colleague Stevie Ray, while Brendan Loughnane has a chance to win it all against Bubba Jenkins.

Harrison and Burgos vs. Moraes are expected to be part of the PPV portion of the card. Full line-up and order of bouts expected at a later date.

“I’m thrilled to announce that the 2022 PFL World Championship is set for Friday, November 25th and the stage doesn’t get any bigger than the prime-time ESPN+ PPV hosted live from New York at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden,” PFL chief executive Peter Murray was quoted as saying in Wednesday’s announcement. “This special holiday pay-per-view event is packed with star talent and championship drama as the PFL will provide fans with six six-belt world title fights and $6 million on the line, headlined by undefeated superstar Kyla Harrison in the biggest fight in her career against Larissa Pacheco, who has five consecutive first-round knockouts coming into this epic season finale. The PPV card will also feature ‘The Hurricane’ Shane Burgos and Marlon Moraes facing each other in their PFL debuts.”
